Hi, I’m Jemeroe Harper, and I’m the President of my mortgage business here in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I’ve been in the mortgage industry since 2015, and over the years, I’ve built my career around one guiding principle: Carpe Diem—seize the day. To me, this isn’t just a motto—it’s how I live and work every single day. Time isn’t guaranteed, opportunities don’t last forever, and growth only comes through action. I bring that sense of urgency, focus, and purpose to every client I work with.


I know that buying a home or refinancing can be overwhelming, and my goal is to make it as smooth and stress-free as possible. I’m here to answer your questions, guide you through the process, and make sure you feel supported from start to finish. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll get it—that’s a promise. My Story: Roots and Early Influences


I grew up in Mt. Morris and Flint, Michigan, two communities that taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and resilience. Life in Flint shaped my mindset in a way that no classroom ever could. I learned early on that challenges are meant to be overcome and that determination is everything when it comes to achieving your goals.


My parents were my first role models, and their guidance continues to shape who I am today. They instilled in me a strong work ethic, the importance of integrity, and the idea that you should always give your best in everything you do. Those lessons weren’t just words—they were a blueprint for success that I carry with me in both life and business.


Professionally, one of the most formative experiences of my career was my time at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Enterprise taught me how to lead with intention, provide exceptional customer service, and always find solutions. It also gave me a foundation in accountability, problem-solving, and client relationships—skills that have been invaluable in building my mortgage business.


Why I Became a Mortgage Broker


I entered the mortgage industry in 2015 because I wanted to make a real impact on people’s lives. Homeownership is more than just a financial transaction—it’s one of the most important decisions most people will ever make. Being able to guide someone through that process, help them achieve their dream, and set them up for success is incredibly rewarding.


Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for being reliable, knowledgeable, and available. I don’t just process loans—I take the time to educate my clients, understand their goals, and provide solutions that fit their unique situations. I measure my success not by the number of deals closed, but by the relationships I build and the trust I earn.

Family and Personal Life


Family is my driving force. Everything I do is for them—to create stability, opportunity, and a legacy that lasts for generations. Their support keeps me motivated to push harder, think bigger, and serve better.


Outside of work, I’m a huge fan of the Detroit Pistons. I love the game, the energy, and the teamwork it represents—qualities I bring into my business every day. I also enjoy spending time with loved ones, learning from mentors, and exploring ways to grow personally and professionally.
